Terms and conditions

  1. All Christmas Trees, Stands, Decorations and any other props remain the property of Christmas Creatives with the exception of edible decorations which may be retained/consumed by the client.
  2. The Client is responsible for looking after all items delivered by Christmas Creatives while under his or her care but will not be liable for minor wear and tear.
  3. The Client accepts that the actual trees and decorations may vary slightly from those pictured on the Christmas Creatives website, or in any quotes or e-mails sent to the client with the purpose of agreeing the overall look, however, the general colour, size and theme provided to the Client will remain the same.
  4. Where a small amount of decorations are returned broken due to accident, Christmas Creatives is generally forgiving, understanding that healthy Christmas Festivities would not be much fun without a bit of rough and tumble. Broken items should be kept and returned to Christmas Creatives. However, where a large amount of decoration items are found missing or broken on collection, these are treated as stolen, lost or vandalised. The client will be required to pay the retail value of such items.
  5. Electric Fairy-Lights and extension cords, when supplied, are high-quality sealed units and are tagged and tested before delivery. However the client must treat them with the due care required of all electrical equipment. Make sure Electrical-Plug is dry before putting into socket and please do not attach your own sets of lights to ours, or place your own lights on trees and other decorations belonging to Christmas Creatives.
  6. Christmas Creatives will take all care in relation to health and safety requirements whist planning and carrying out installation and removal of decorations, however Christmas Creatives will not be held responsible for any accidents or injury in relation to the hire. It is up to the client to ensure they are satisfied that health and safety precautions taken are sufficient for the specific requirements of the location of the installation.
  7. If garlands or wreaths are being installed, our preferred method of affixation is cable tie. However if there is nothing suitable to affix a cable tie to, we can use command hooks. If using command hooks, Christmas Creatives cannot guarantee that the item will remain hanging for the duration of the hire period due to variations in wall surfacing. Christmas Creatives will not be held liable for any damage caused to the client’s premises as a result of the use of command hooks so we recommend discretion if this option is chosen.
  8. In general terms the period of hire will be from between early November until mid-January and the price will be fixed for this period. However, each tree hire period will be negotiated individually with the client to ensure that the set up and dismantle dates are best suited to the client’s needs.
  9. A quote will be issued on receipt of your order. In order to secure the booking, please accept the quote through the link sent, and a 30% deposit is required. This is payable within 7 days of booking. Payment of the balance will be via invoice after the tree/decorations have been installed.
  10. If the booking is cancelled more than 14 days prior to the agreed installation date, Christmas Creatives will retain 50% of the deposit. Cancellations within 14 days of the installation date are non-refundable. If we are unable to install the tree due to Covid-19 restrictions, either government imposed or by the client’s internal policy, the deposit will be retained and transferred to a booking for the following year.
  11. Tree sizes are approximate only and may alter slightly depending on the manufacturer of the tree.
